Pre-School Ballet
Pre-school children are a very important part of Bramhall School of Dancing.
We have Pre-school ballet classes on Mondays from 4.15 - 4.45 and Saturdays from 11.00-11.30.
What is Pre-School Ballet?
It is the introduction to ballet through stories and adventures in music and dance, gently teaching children how to stand in circles and lines and perform as an individual, with a partner or as part of a group.It is designed to increase co-ordination and motor skill, and build confidence, in preparation for joining the main school when they start Primary school.
Note:
There are nearly always waiting lists for all classes, so it is best
to put names down early.
From the pre-school classes it is a natural progression into the main school and places are guaranteed for our pre-schoolers.
There is no uniform for pre-schoolers; all we ask is that children have bare legs and hair tied back safely. Ballet shoes are objects of desire, but not necessary.
