Our Pre-School classes are suitable for girls and boys aged 3 – 4 years old. At BSD we understand that children develop at different stages and so we do accept students in the term they turn three where appropriate. We also offer a free trial lesson to make sure this class is perfect for your little dancer.
These classes act as an introduction to dance through stories and adventures in music. Gently teaching children how to stand in circles and lines, perform as an individual, with a partner or as part of a group. Lessons are designed to increase co-ordination and motor skill whilst building confidence. All children registered for Pre-School lessons are guaranteed a place in the main school once they start primary school.
What happens next?
Once your child starts primary school they will be invited to join one of our Introductory Ballet and Tap classes.
